Ithink this photo was taken behind my grandparents home on city road. Back row far right is my father Harry Hilton next but one in the naval uniform is my uncle Tom Hilton. The man at the front is my fathers good friend Len Fleetwood. Idont know the others on the photo.

My dad Jim (Jimmy) Bradshaw is 2nd from the right on the back row(seems to have his arm in some kind of sling).
I was born at 123 City Road in 1950.

My dad Geoff Hitchen, is bottom right, he spoke fondly of growing up in Kitt Green and of his childhood friendship with Len and Harry. Jimmy Worthington ( Lens brother )is bottom left, Jimmy tells me the year was 1945 and the photo was taken in the garden of a house opposite the Brookhouse, that may be in Harrys mum and dads back garden, thankyou for all your comments.

Hello, Jimmy Bradshaw used to play cricket with us at Wigan Electric in the late 50's. He bowled (with his bad arm) for us.

Hello Arnold, Have just seen your comment about my dad Jimmy Bradshaw. Nice to know someone out there remembers him. Sadly he died in 1983.

Does anyone remember Gaskells coal yard, next to the miners, up to the lates 1950’s. My father was Tom Gaskell, and brother John. I had an aunt and uncle called Bill and Marie Gaskell and they had a son Stephen. It would be be good to catch up.
