Charles W Poole and John R Poole were show and theatre producers that travelled the UK from 1900 to 1937 putting on real depictions of famous happenings. Each show would run for 42 weeks around the UK and the family would have up to 7 shows running at the same time. They also staged shows that featured such acts as Amasis (The Egyptian man of mystery) - their depictions were called Dioramas. They also staged Panoramas, Dioramas, Myrioramas, Theatres, Variety
Halls and Cinemas. The family business started in 1837 with the first generation of Poole's and the company was wrapped up in 1937. I would suggest that postcard is quite a bit earlier.
