Possibly Bedford St, looking towards Northumberland St?

The man on the right is Mr.Leyland(Top man). Photograph taken outside his house in Bedford Street. The old Whelley labour club was on the extreme left of the picture, next to the houses on Northumberland St., the same sight as the current club.
