Swinley Hall was on land facing the entrance to St. Michael's Church.

It was between Swinley Road and Hornby Street, part of the original stone garden wall is still there on the corner of Swinley Road and Swinley Lane. Swinley Hall Cottage is still there at the top of Hornby Street on the right hand side going down from Swinley Lane.

What happened to it? Did it burn down or was it just demolished?
