i dont remember spare land in clayton st. I am interested in the pic though Iyvonne is the image of me at that age i am also a sweeney my dads family came from clayton st maybe we are related
The picture of Gill and I was taken on a Brownies field trip, my mum Joyce Sweeney made the outfits with materiel bought from Tickles on the Wiend in Wigan. a lively photo.
Don’t know the two ladies nor the location but it is a lovely picture and I am sure it brings them back many memories.

Their father was Joe Sweeney whom I think came from the Pottery Road area.
