Eileen Radcliffe and Peter Ashton at the side of Can Row Brook,we spent many happy hours catching Cockeys and putting them in jam jars

Think this was taken probably 1951-52,not near the brook but in the communal back yard

hi Eileen are you the same Eileen Radcliffe who left Ince central school in 1958 & went to Hindley & Abram school. Did you & a few friends help out Mrs Foster in 1b for about 3 weeks before going to Hindley at Ince central school.

Hello Stuart,
Your name seems familiar but I can't place you, I did leave Ince Central school and went to Hindley and Abram but that was in 1956,and I did help out at Ince Central School around the same time, should I know you Stuart?6qis3

hi Eileen i was in Mrs fosters class in 1958 at Ince central school . If it was you who helped out at that time do you remember saying to me that my mother was you god mother.

Hi Stuart,
I definitely remember helping out at Ince Central,it must have been after I started at Hindley and Abram,if your mum's name was Maggie and her maiden name was Hindley then we will have had the conversation, you must have an amazing memory!!
Your mum and my auntie Annie were great friends, and they both were my godmothers,in fact I'm sure I have a photo somewhere in the house of the two of them,if I can find it I'll post it on this page on Wigan World so keep checking!
Nice to hear from you x

Hi Stuart
I've also been trying to upload the photo with little success but keep watching because I'm determined!
Jackie May emigrated to Australia back in the 60s and has lived there ever since,Phllip and her other brother Tony also went out there. I keep in touch with her so I will mention you x

Hi Stuart, I have uploaded my photo of Factory Fold again on this page but I am struggling to remember the comments on the same photo which was lost,
I remember asking you at one point about the comment you made to Terry (Halsall) about the house in the distance on the Can Row photo, I don't remember it,who lived there?
I can't find the picture of my Auntie Annie and your mum, so I'm going to upload it again, thanks for keeping in touch x

Hi Eileen , The house on the common in the background , i have been inside this house many years ago with cousin Susan. I am afraid i cant recollect the name of the people living there at that time . I had hope that terry may have enlightened me on this . I will try to make further enquiries about this matter.
