Hi Anne, I am assuming your maiden was Gibson, if so do you know where your grandfather lived before he was married, my grandfather James Gibson lived not far away on Poolstock lane. (maybe related)and is daughter Evelyn butler lived in Bradford Place.

Hello JG my Dad was from County Durham all the Gibsons related to me live in Durham. My brother Clifford would have been the only Gibson but he died in Australia in 1986. I seem to remember a lady called Evelyn Butler from Bradford Place, did she have a daughter Sylvia who died young and a son Freddie?
