Anne enjoyed all your family photos, brought back happy memories visiting my uncle Bob Glover and his wife aunt Lizzy daughters Mary and Ann who lived in WOOD street just off Chapel lane i can recall how Chapel lane was like in the 50's. they moved into the tall flats at Scholes i think it was Douglas House when the houses were pulled down. Thanks Anne
Aww such a lovely photo, our Zena with her ribbons in, as always. xx
Small world Carol, Lizzie and Bob moved to Marsh Green he was steward at St. Thomas' Labour Club and I worked for him behind the bar. My dad and Bob were great friends. I went to his house many times when I was a chid living in Chapel Lane.
Hi Anne i remember him being steward of a club i had forgot the name thanks for that, i remember he bred birds when he lived in Wood street; he was my mams elder brother he died in 1982 same year his parents (my grandparents)died;lost touch with his family since then.Mary had two sons i remember one of their names being Christopher, Ann had a son and daughter and she lived at NEW SPRINGS once again thanks Anne for taking me down memory Chapel Lane
