All three bus chassis built at Leyland and bodied by Northern Counties on Wigan Lane. THOSE WERE THE DAYS !
Good nostalgic Photo Brian.

And all three in a proper livery, Marcus

Massey Brothers was Wigan Lane...Northern Counties was Pemberton.

Garry, Northern Counties was on Wigan Lane, just further nearer Wigan than the infirmary and roughly almost opposite what is now The Bellingham. They did move to Pemberton (the former Massey's site?)

Was it just lorry chassis that they built at Santus's, in, I think it was Powell Street.

Albert, Santus's were in Powell St, just past what was then the Drill Hall. Don't know that they made chassis. I think they specialised in coach bodywork. Remember as a kid walking past the open doors with welding sparks flying everywhere.
