Hindley young lads the young boy third from left front row was my wife's uncle John, he lived in firstly Mawdsley St, then 223 Liverpool Rd and finally in the flats known as Longton St
I don't think this is Hindley Boys Brigade. The uniform is wrong for the BB, especially the officers and also the cap badges of the boys. 8TH Wigan BB was founded in 1916 so the timing is right. Was there a CLB company at the time or could it be the Catholic Boys Brigade?

l Hindley St Benedicts brigade capt centre Abraham Halliwell 3 row 1st l Terence Haggarty my uncle he had six brothers idont know if any are on here.
