Lovely photo. I wonder if the little lad on the left with the hat on, had a dad who worked on the railways?

You are right Henry, one of his family was on the Railways but his dad was a miner. When he was older he did become a railway fanatic and built the most beautiful model railway you could imagine, he gave it to my son for a present it took up half his little bedroom, brilliant !

Walter, that's a lovely story. John must have had high ambitions regarding the railways.
