Looks like the lady has just got off the bus and probably going home for a hot cup of tea. Great picture, very nostalgic.

Great photo Stuart, you've captured the bus with it's o/s indicator about to be cancelled after just leaving a bus stop. A photo that tells a story.

It could very well have been me driving that bus, as I spent a lot of time on the 625/6 route, both as a conductor and then as a driver

The bus is actually crossing Hodges Street, heading towards Gidlow Lane, after pulling away from the bus stop. It is about to turn right at the junction with Gidlow Lane, in front of what was Pam's Pantry.
