My two older sisters, Janet Grundy (left) and Linda Belshaw (both nee Howe) taken in mum's front garden in Cedar Drive in about 1962.

The child on the left looks just like my daughter at that age..pretty as a picture.

I may be slightly pedantic here (someone correct me If I am wrong), but I think the photo was taken in Rosemary Crescent, in front of the top of the steps. Where the pipes are coming down the wall in the corner is the end house, I was born next left at No, 3 Rosemary Crescent, No. 5 was Swann's house, No. 7 was where Margery Riley lived and No. 9 was ???, Mrs Gaskell lived in the end one. Also the sun shining on the girls' faces is from the west.

This is most certainly Cedar Drive!
