Two very good friends of mine Raymond Fletcher and John Davis who emigrated to Australia in the seventies and still there.

did ray fletcher work at trencherfield mill in the sixties iseem to remember his face i worked there my name was pat walker

Raymond worked at Taylors carpet factory 60s and 70s

Ray left school in 1963 and his first job was at Trencherfield,i rember him coming home full of cotton,he did a couple of years and left to join his mates at Taylors Carpets which is now Shearings...

i thought i was right about him working at trench i know he knocked about with cyril appleton at work also george boon i also recognise john banks and john davis
Ray was also a very good Karaoke singer, great bloke. Going over to oz to see my Son, & a good catch-up with John Davies
