Taken in Warrington Road Platt Bridge outside 'Umbrella Row'

I thought that the Umbrella Row was in Abram, not Platt Bridge ( unless there are two ). If memory serves me right it was the row of houses that faced Bickershaw Lane either side of the chippy.

Yes that's right but that area I always knew as Platt Bridge.

My Mum has lived in the Umbrella Row since she was born in 1928 and she says it's always been Abram

Lived in Abram all my life and Platt Bridge only starts when you go over the bridge at the traffic lights.

Hi ,i think platt bridge started at the Miners hall where the traffic lights are now
