Nice little engine Frank
This is a pecket locomotive built in 1892with works number 539. It was new to Garswood Hall Coal & Iron Co, Park Lane Collieries, Bryn, Ashton-in-Makerfield. To Garswood Hall Colliery. To NCB 1/1/1947 Garswood Hall Colliery. To Haydock Central Workshops in 1956 and then to Lea Green Colliery. Also at Sutton Manor Colliery, St Helens. New boiler sent in 1919 and a new axle fitted in 1944. Scrapped here in 1959. Also at Walkden Central Workshops
