to the left of the drainpipe was the control cabin, up a couple of steps and the entrance to a permanent myth card school, just below the cabin to the right was the bosses office, I was an unwelcome guest in there a couple of times with my old control mate Harry Heyes, notably one in which we were accused of stopping the stranraer express, and finished up going to Lime street to face a inquiry board, we walked away with a smile on our faces, no ay could you get beyond Harry where the rule book was involved, older employees may still recall the time.
