Typesetters, hotmetal and Letterpress printers, a process used in books and newspapers before the invention of computers and web offset printing. Typesetters were very skilful people.

What a great pic. I served my time as a "comp" at Wigan Printing 1965-1970. I was handsetting general jobs ie posters, invites, menus,and every March I was on election posters. Without blowing me own trumpet,give me half a day and I could easily pick it up again the "diss" it back in the case. Reading upside down and back to front is still second nature. I bet i'm not on me own either. Happy days
