not many photo,s were taken in those days as people did not carry mobile phones around,just look at the machinery..there was a strong focus on hand skills which along with training at technical college helped me to later become an aircraft engineer (structures)and work around the world in places such as perth and sydney in australia and boeings everet plant in seatle, People I recall working in this shop between 1964/69 are albert underwood (foreman)johnny lowe leading hand) norman green sn,r later to become foreman, jimmy brown (union branch secretary for many years),george turner,tommy jones,tommy jolley,malc causey,roy simm,paddy o,neil(southport)mike yarwood,norman green(junior),joe.....,colin pridock,Jimmy Bentham my mentor who later taught metalwork at parkhurst prison on i.o.w,bill jones,eric robinson,alan brightcliffe (was at bhw around 1999)dave(nickname rip),derrick baines the bookie from bolton,and tommy jackson from horwich. apprentices during this period ..ronnie jones,john hanks,norman simm,geoff pedder,brian taylor,phillip ashall and young brian.....?I hope this information may be of some use or interest to someone, sorry if I missed anyone,g,day lads,do your best.

Gud day terry i only worked in the trimming shop from 77---82 and left but i know some of the names you have said both dads and sons and met and worked with both good and happy times looking back now i am 60
