Margaret Ainscough is my Nan. Can anyone tell me anything about this picture?

Gillian, your nan worked on the screens at Standish Hall with my mother, on the far right of the pic. On the same page there are two pics of the screens where they worked

I worked with these lovely ladies as a 15 year old on the screens at Jonh pit when I just starting in the mines.
In fact Miss Baker took me under under her wing and made sure I wasn't initiated with the tub grease as was the custom for all new boys on working on the screens

I first saw this photograph in the "Local Life" magazine a few months ago. The lady on the left is my grandma, Ruth Everett. Although I have not seen many photos of her as a young adult I recognised her and clarified this with my mum.

Brought back nice memories to both of us.
