Here are the Press Room lads out on a trip to Southport about 1971 Names I remember are

Eddie Cropper, Stan Jones, Geoff Melling, Dave Baybutt, Terry Moran, John Simm (he was the foreman seated at the front) he pinched my T shirt that night and I want it back !!!

The coach was square so we christened it the "Shoe Box"

Hi to all you lovely people. I too sigh a little with much fondness when i look at theses photos. Very happy days but then do we ever remember just how hard it was at Coops? remember during the summer in the hot weather?
I remember david baybutt at the bakery, lunchtime, peeling his pickled onion to put on his barmcake. remember david, and that christmas when i got blind drunk at the grand hotel. Brian Cunliffe too me home in geoff glamfields car, left me outside the house and did a runner cause he knew what dorothy was like. Thanks for drilling the hole. 1st time i remembered it gerry
