Nurses Prize Day in 1969. I won the Gold Medal and Sister Tutors Prize.Can't remember who got Silver or Bronze medals and other Prizes sorry.

Yes you do Stuart. I remember that the blonde nurse at the back was called Fred by everyone.

My husband often refers to a nurse Bissell who looked after him as a young child whilst in Billinge hospital around this time. He has never forgot her kindness …or the fact that he had a little bit of a crush on her!
