LtoR Alan Laithwaite,John Byrne,Graham Greenhalgh,Tony Sharkey and Tony Winstanley.This was taken in 1993 when the new board machine was installed at SCA(Reeds Corrugated Cases,Goose Green)the machine was named "OSCAR" hence they were named (THE OSCAR CREW)

Come on all you Reeds people out there get your old photo's out and put them on, a compation was run to name the machine winning name was OSCAR as you say,the three middle letters was the comany name SCA Wigan (O--SCA--R)

Do any of you Reeds workers not know Walter Woods(Wally) i believe he used to work at Reeds i think he lives in Beech Hill he's a keane Cyclist.

Just been talking to Wally on Morrisons car park at Hindley he was on his bike then going home from work we had a good chat
