This was taken sometime in the Early seventies.
Cotton Goods were one of my customers.
I will post another commemnt on the two male gentlemen later.
They were the joint bosses.
The taller gentleman is Julian Rosenberg, the other gentleman is Joe?
The main man wasn't Joe Landes or Julian Rosenberg but Joe's father Mr Ellis Landes !!!!!! Julian was married to his daughter and Joe was his son ....
Are you the Kevin Brown from Onslow Textiles, Chorley, by any chance? I used to work in the office at Cotton Goods, with Frances. You usually came with one of your colleagues, though I can't remember his name?
The days at Cotton Goods bring back fond memories, in particular when 'Radio Wigan' set up camp for the day, not to mention the various practical jokes; hilarious!! It's lovely to see the familiar faces from back then. Sadly work places today just don't have the same fun.
2nd right Hilda Rylance was lovely to see her picture she passed away 2005. She had some great times at Cotton Goods.
I remember working with some of these ladies (and gents) when it had moved to the old wigan observer buildings in wood street, I was only 16 and did almost 2 years there and then the recession hit and I got laid off,,, I worked on the bar tacking machine with Joan Chippendale,,,great times,,,
