Taken at Bilsborrow- Muckshifting using D8 & scraper box,Cat D9 pusher,TS 24 motor scraper.These guys would have left Wigan on the 6 am works bus up to Bilsborrow and started work. At that time it was a 6 day week working with plant fitters/mechanics working on the Sunday.I cannot put names to those in the photo.

Broady, Hi, No objection as per last time.I sometimes"dip" into it and see comments about people I met or knew back in the early 60's.It was a hard life at times but looking back through my personal diaries I realize I had some good mentors then even if I didn't know it at the time.
