2 Leyland PD3, 72 seater double deckers in the grounds of Haigh Hall. During my time at Ribble
in the late 1960s, The Wigan depot of Ribble had
about 7 of this type of Leyland. Other vehicles
include a Widnes Corporation Bristol single deck
bus, an early Ribble Leyland Tiger, and a L.U.T.
bus, probably a Daimler Fleetline. Ray.

Thanks Ray for these pictures of Ribble and Wigan coroporation buses, brings back memories of catching buses from UpHolland and Abbey Lakes going to Wigan
Remember Ribble double decks 1967 running to dangerous corner in the evening ,remember them going past green railings of Leeds Liverpool canal at Woodhouse lane Wigan.
