I will always have the highest regard for the pit brow ladies. Decent, respected, and certainly fun loving. They were in a class of their own. God bless each one of them, wherever they are.

The lady on the extreme left looks as if she isn't far from giving birth. I don't suppose there were any rules against working in that condition as long as a woman could. I may be wrong ... Who knows!
