No it's an AEC Mammoth Major, I saw it many times driving passed there.

If memory serves me it wa an Atkinson gritting lorry and it had a tree growing through it the last time I saw it.

John You are right it was a 6 wheel gritter but it was parked on the other side of the road ,the one i'm on about belonged to C Broome from Lowton it was a four wheeler tractor unit he used to park it at the Packet Pub,D.C.
