  This wagon is reputed to be among the first articulated tippers to be seen on the roads of the U.K. Precise year unknown. Possibly mid 60's at a guess.

The first articulated tippers were in 1967, and was not Harts. It was indeed a dump truck in London.

Ozymandias, being a old retired driver I always enjoy your contributions to WW, always very interesting, thanks !. I also read a monthly magazine about Classic and Vintage Commercials - having just received June's issue. I was interested in a small reference by someone re- Harts of Chorley, asking if anyone has information about this firm, I think he should contact you as I'm sure he would be over the moon with what you have to offer.
