the chimney toppled in 1974 because i was working for a plant hire firm who cleared the site,& i had to drill holes in it so that it could be dlasted by Blaster Bates.

I lived on Giants Hall Road and our telly always had a thin shadow on the screen running from top to bottom, ariel man said it was caused by Giants Hall chimney, when it was demolished no more shadow, he was right.
