Ted; I don`t recognise any of these.
My 1970 diary for Mon.4th May:-
" Work. Glorious weather. 4 Poles here. Had to go to Riverside Works to meeting because of strike at Wigan."
Can see the bridge hole on this photo, which flooded many times.
