This takes me back.In my teens I would go to the shop there with my Aunt Mary and she would usually buy me 2 or 3 pairs of shoes.She always really spoiled me.

It was off Tunstall Lane at the Billinge Road end,Loz
My gran use to work there back in the early 40's. Think I might have some pictures from the inside that I came across scanning some old positives but need to show them to my gran first to see is they are from there.

I think this is were my mum and dad met when they both worked there in the 50's. Cath and Les Bromilow.
