Hard to believe what it was like when you stand there now with just the old base of the box and trees alround. Great sequence of pics Peter.

i dug on this site a few years ago. and found an old cheery blossom tim containing three keys inside one was brass, i also found the old cast iron stove but someone took it there is a lot to be found on the steep side of the hill.plenty of old grey batterys.i also found a bridge plate with a small corner chipped off.i often wondered what life was like inside the signal box is the man peter worthington and has he put them on.i was talking to a bloke who lives near the signal box.and he says he used to go in and have a chat many times.thank god for photos.
