Number of Black Five lead Loco appears to be 44929 the smokebox numberplate of which I bought, and still have, after the Loco was withdrawn from Bolton shed at the end of June 1968

44929 it is Frank. Is this a coincidence or did You presume I had the photo?

Yes just a coincidence Peter.44929 was allocated to Agecroft shed at this time and although not a million miles from Wigan would more likely be seen across the road passing through Wallgate station rather than southbound on the WCML approaching North West with a dead what appears to be a Royal Scot or Rebuilt Patriot in tow

This photo blows up well for a matt finish, even so I still can't identify the dead one, but the tender appears to be empty and a few bits missing if it's a Patriot
