Remember quite a few of the lads on there, especially those two rascals at the back, Tony Carney and Tommy Berry they'd put Dennis the Menace to shame them two would. LOL. They would do repairs at the school I was at in the seventies, yes Central Works Department your right John.

So how old would Ronnie have been on that photo?

Ronnie would be in his early 20's in the late 1970's. He is a couple of years older than me. He signed for Salford from Wigan around 1978/79.

Phil Oaks played football for St Thomas,s Labour Club, late 70,s. Think he was a better plumber tho.

Hi
I am trying to get in touch with Terry Byrne, who was a Plumber in Wigan.I saw this & thought looking at the pic that it is the same man. I have also talked to his first wife Eileen (I think thats her name) on the telephone. There is No trouble, I just want a word with Terry if that's possible?

i will be very grateful
sincerely,
Suzy
