Thanks for the compliment Dennis,bumped into Wilf Aspey in Asda the other day.Not seen each other for almost fifty years,got me thinking about your Fred.Ray did used to work at Gullicks(Joy Mining).Can anyone enlighten me further.

Just found this pic the day before I visit Ken who is my cousin who hasn't been very well lately. I have lived in Stockport since 1960 but have fond memories of Wigan. My Dad, Tom Maggs was Foreman at W.M.I & worked there from being 14, Ken,Terry & Roy (Leather) all worked with my Dad.I was at School with Wilf Aspey & Fred Bamber.

An email from an old mate, Ted Porter, made me look at Wigan world. I really do remember when this was taken and the good time we had. Just hope Ken, Wilf, and Ray are ok

Still see Ray he singing well on karaoke also worked with him at gullicks
