Works "do" at Ridgeway Arms, Blackrod. Came across this photo today. My wife, Kath, is 3rd on right, back row. I lost Kath in 1998, but I know she would have wanted me to share with you all these lovely memories. She certainly enjoyed those times.

Thanks Keith - I have the same photo but without date or venue. The photo belonged to my mother who sadly died earlier this year. I can name just a few of the people. -Hilda Ashurst, Edna Brindle (my mother), Winnie Birchall, Molly Turner,Barbara ? (nee Lloyd),and possibly Blanche Gibson.

Thanks Keith, My auntie, Gladys Conroy is on this photo, she is seated in the middle of the second row. It is a really good photograph of her and I was thrilled to see it. It's great to see such a happy group of people having a night out together (a sign of the good old days).
