We had a Pemberton Starlite caravan. In fact, my Dad bought the one that was used for the Caravan Magazine review. It was a four-people touring van painted in Claret and Seagull Grey (exterior). It had a toilet cupboard (which no-one was allowed to use!), gas lighting, small cooker of twin burners and grill, a double bed and two singles, and curtains with matched floral material and tie backs. My parents bought it on my birthday in 1956 and it spent it's life in Seaton Devon and then in Towyn in Wales. Looking a bit dated it was scrapped in about 1972 and we were all so sorry to see it go!

I am John Rigby, Norman's son. The company was and is, under different ownership, Pemberton Caravans, based in Pemberton, Near Wigan, Lancs.

M woodier. My brother Martin was in touch with Rex, Eric's son and our cousin, so may know of Paul's whereabouts.
