this pic shows some of the girls in the sewing room at rappaports hr ince , think the girl in front was phil ? second back is ? rigby, third is cheryl? cant remember others, this was mid 70s.

The lady stood up is margaret (can't remember her second name) she was a passer. I still see her sometimes out shopping.

hi kathleen, i know her so well and see her often but i couldnt think of her name? she is a scouser and a lovly lady i remember her always calling me jose it must be a scouse thing as my lovly daughter in law is scouse and she calls me the exact same name jose . hope no one is offended at me saying scouse ime sure scousers are very proud of being (scousers} i am in the process of learning to make lob scouse, but i remember my mam makeing lobbys and sometimes she would call it lob scouse? and she sometimes sprinkled a platefull with curry powder . and that was in 1950s.

Lady in front row on left is my mum Marion Sharples, she was a passer and lived in Loeminster Place and then moved to Christopher St. Sadley she passed away 5 yrs ago

i remember your mum marion training me up as a passer when i started work there in 1978 age 15. i recall she was a very nice lady.
