Lynne the photo was in my Dads collection he used to work at the brickworks for a short while.Plus some local pits also. What are you going to admit to..................hopr its interesting.

I WILL ADMIT TO THE MAN ON THE RIGHT BEING MY DAD,
HARRY ASHALL.
HIS MATE JACK ATHERTON,HE WAS MY GODFATHER.BOTH SADLY NO LONGER WITH US.
Lynne could you confirm which brick works it was at just so we know. Was it the one near what used to be the Blue Lagoon towards Billinge, cannot remember the road. And thankyou for the names, Martin

I THINK IT WAS ORRELL BRICK & TILE WINSTANLEY ROAD.
