Not sure in which club this was taken. It was 1975 and features Hilda, Jenny, Ivy, Gladys, Lily, Mary, Gladys.

My Nana, Mary Coward, is third from right. The lady in white is Gladys Hughes, although Nana always called her by her maiden name which was Doe. Gladys lived in Palm Avenue, North Ashton for many years but I think she moved to Platt Bridge some time ago.
This looks like it could've been taken at someone's wedding as the lady stood at the back is wearing a buttonhole...?
It was taken in the upstairs function room at the Simms Road Inn. It was there until the pub was refurbished in the 80s. Had some good do's in that room both as a customer and as landlord of the pub
