Can anybody help with the two unknowns? My brother Ian and myself just can't remember who they are, although we think the lads surname is Heaton and the young lady came from Simms Lane End.
Could the unknown be Jackie Smout?
Great picture Lyndon. I recognise quite a lot of the faces and names but can't help with the unknown ones. Our Brent has returned to Australia now but maybe my Mum can help. I will ask her.
What a fantastic photo, I recognise most of the people on it. I can see two cousins of mine, Tommy Shaw and Shirley Sutton. Unfortunatly I can't name the two unknowns.
Lyndon, do you have any photos of my class, I was in the top class 1956/7 before I went to the Central school. I have never seen any that were done from when I started in 1950 when I was 4 years old.
John, sorry I only have two more class photos; one being my brother's class two years earlier and the other my mother's class in 1977. Like other parents, in the earlier years, my mum used to buy the strip of four individual head and shoulders photos. Incidentally whereabouts did you live? You are ony 12 months or so older than me but I just can't place you.
We lived in Hawthorn. My brother George who you might know is two years younger than me. My sister Barbara is in the two class photos posted by Susan Atherton.
The girl on the third row is Marian Frodsham. The boy on the front row is John Heaton

Wow quite something to see this photograph and would love to hear from some of my classmates in the photo -- I am now working for Preston FM Radio and on air weekdays Monday to Friday from 10am - you can listen on line or tuneinradio
Christine James was my gf in 1967!! I would love to know anything about her and her life after that date.. (I now live near Sydney.)
