i only remember mrs ryan as a nowty woman , allways pulling us up about our uniform, didnt she understand poverty?she once throwed my coat in assembly on the stage in front of everyone and said this is not school uniform, thats all i had, i was so ashamed. i could go on, but i must say it didnt do me any harm just hurt my pride at the time. i say bring back mrs ryan and the teachers we had then they put us in our place not like teachers and kids today they made us who we are today . respectfull .

Mrs Ryan left Cardy as I started, the year after that Mr Rigby left. As I remember, Mrs Ryan went to live in France and died at the wheel of her car, that's the story I got back then.

On the row behind Mrs Ryan is Beth Critchley. On the same row, second from the laft, is me, and the first person on the left (front row) is Sheilla Doherty. Is that Geof Ball at the back?

yes i went to cardy.i heard last week that mrs mccallister has died.i had a brother called tonyhe was 7years older than me.anyone remeber us. my brother used to play football.

Rip mrs mc callister. She was lovelly. Didn't really like mrs. Ryan as she had her favourites. Sox didn't know about reunion. I now live in Blackpool. I attended carry and went into the second yr due to the newness of the school.

I didn't go to Cardy but just noticed Lynn Houghton's name. Hi Lynn, I really fancy you in my youth and you were one of my earliest flings. You were a very good looker as I remember and we spent a bit of time together as I recall (with Pat Higgins?) Hope you are OK x
