It's good to see this old photograph again, I didn't realise that my sister had it, let alone had posted it on the web.
In these days of thinning hair styles and thickening waistlines I'm not sure that I can remember everyone's name, but here goes.
Back row ,left to right. David Hewitt (hooker) David Rutter (2nd row) Paul Baxter (prop) David Roberts (prop) Ken Gee (2nd row) Jim Jones (back row) Michael Watt (back row) George Hayes (back row) Kevin Winstanley (centre).
Front row left to right. David Kendrick (centre) Peter Pennington (scrum half) Norman Kendrick (twin to David and stand off) Kevin Hughes (centre) Gordon Ramsdale (Captain & fullback) Peter Jennings (wing) David Fairhurst (wing) and, sorry, I don't remember the lad on the outside - perhaps someone else may recall his name.
Incidentally the team may be the U13's rather that U14's.

The coach was either Sid Pennington, Peter's dad, or 'Jock' Anderson - but neither is pictured.

Happy days.

Thanks Adrian, as soon as I read your comment I was able to recognise your name. How did I do with all the other names - did I get them right?

Dave Names were fine apart from Gordon Ramsdale which should be Robert Ramsdale. You must be thinking of the chef !

I got quite a few names but not as may as you, David. I should have been in the team and got a lot of stick from Jock Anderson for working my Saturday morning job instead of playing for the school. He wasn't to know that I had no choice in the matter and would have much preferred to play. Some happy days, but some not so happy for me. Great to see the photos !
