Girls from Wigan Girls High School fraternising with three Wigan RL players. My daughter is one of the girls and I can guess at the date as being in the region of 1970.
I left in 1969, but can remember watching the Wigan rugby players training on the other side of the wall on the old Central Park ground which is now sadly a Tesco

Was at school from 1957-63. I can remember talking to Wigan Rugby Players over the school wall at luncchtimes - Billy Boston and Eric Ashton.
I moved to Wigan in approx 1958..In 1959 was in Wigan infirmary for appendicitis.The rugby team won the rugby league cup that year and came round the ward for us to take a picture with them.Billy Boston et al.
