70 years on. It seems as though the photograph was taken only yesterday. Where is everyone now.
Hello Mariilyn, how are you? And where are you? I still live in Worsley Mesnes. I spoke to Harry Morgan a few days ago, he's stayed in this area as well. Raymond Burrows lives at Marus Bridge. I see him very occasionally.
I have a photo with you on it taken in 1952. Cynthia Holden and Jean Calderbank along with 7 lads when we passed our 11+ exam at Poolstock school. Now, where is that photo? I'll see if I can find it without turning the house upside down.

I migrated, after retirement, from London to Norfolk. I do get back to Wigan a few times a year, was there last week attending a funeral on 30th July. I, too, have that photograph of the group who passed the 11plus, taken by my Father. I will next be in Wigan in September for an 18th Birthday celebration. I don't know where anyone from the class is now, so it was good to see that some of us are still around.

Hi Marilyn, I didn't know your dad took the the photo of the 10 of us, although I remember him as a well known photographer in Wigan, working for one of the local newspapers.
