I think that is my brother, Ernest Woodcock, third from the left on the back row.
As he was born in 1941 I think this must have been taken at the back of the old Beech Hill Primary School about 1948/49.

Was Ernest later a police officer Bill?
If so, I worked with him.
He worked on the railway. Ended up as Personnel Manager for West Coast Main Line. Mad on trains all his life.
