Year 1963/4 Golborne Boys Secondary School metalwork classroom. At the front 1st vice Peter Williams, 2nd vice Barry Derbyshire, 3rd vice me, 4th vice Brian Swann. At the rear by the forge James Picton. At the vice far right Malcolm Woodward. Between Peter Williams and Malcolm Woodward is Stephen Mathews.

Next thing you know they will be making things.
I suppose you could call this photo...the Vice Squad!!
The whole street had fireplace pokers made by me in the metalwork class in school!

Today they'd all be wearing safety goggles and hi-viz jackets. Safety goggles isn't a bad thing.
I am on this photo (Lewis Knight) but all you can see is my left arm in the bottom left corner. From memory Mr Mills was the metalwork teacher.
