Front row l to r, Alan Fairclough, Brian Lee, Billy Dawber. Billy was in St. James' Church choir around 1950. He was a brilliant singer. I remember him singing solo at one of the choir events. Th Hallelujah Chorus was one of the major pieces we sang.
Poolstock,Poolstock Cof E School, magic in those days. I loved every minute of it and I'm a Worsley Mesneser.

Hope I have all the names correct. I was in the class below this, but remember all the pupils. Brilliant days. I enjoyed every minute of my time at Poolstock School.

Ralph Unsworth was my cousin. I lived in Byrom street and went to the little school with my brother. Ralph died tragically about 40 years ago. As you say, great school, great neighbourhood and great days.

Brian Yates became a cop in Blackpool. Became a Taxi driver later.Died a few years ago.
