Hi watchalot, thanks for your comments on ages and dates, you are quite correct, I refer to the ''School Trip'' in affectionate terms, Roy had left the school at that time, but in his case I can't remember if he had spoken to Mr Edmondson requesting a place, if you look at the description of the first trip photo on the website of three of us in leiderhausen in front of the shop window, the caption describes that we had left school at the time. Sorry about any confusion caused unitentionally. PH.
